Have you ever felt lonely in your role in children’s ministry?  Have you ever wondered where to go for training and tools to equip you in this important task?  Although at CDM we want to connect you to resources that will equip you throughout the year, we have 1 very special opportunity for connection and training this spring.  April 20^th – 22^nd will be our 5^th annual Leadership Training Retreat.   This retreat is an opportunity to gather with other leaders in children’s ministry to connect, share ideas, learn from each other and worship together. LTR is a unique opportunity to gather with like-minded individuals who are doing what you are doing in various size churches all over the country.

Our Children’s Ministry Team will lead discussion groups based on your specific area of ministry and church size.  Several PCA pastors who have played a hands-on role in their children’s ministry will be speaking.  We will have exhibitors present who have reformed and covenantal resources that we think your church will be interested in learning about.

Lastly, we will be giving every registrant a copy of the book “Resilient” by Valerie Bell.  Our hope for all of us that we will be making resilient disciples in our local church.  This book is full of truth and ideas to help you think about the future of the church and the role that we play as covenant parents.  We will be discussing this book together and growing together in our knowledge and skills to invest in the children in our church.
