Heirs of the Covenant

Book description:

“This book considers how the content of the covenant is lived out in the context of the covenant community, and how it culminates in transformed lives that are passionate to glorify and enjoy God by making disciples who also glorify and enjoy Him” (p. 26).

The very heart and soul of discipleship is covenantal succession. It is raising up, equipping, and encouraging the next generation of Christian servant-leaders in the essentials of the gospel. It is passing the torch. In this book Susan Hunt has given us all the hows and whys, all the whos and whats of that vital endeavor. Because discipleship is always a group process, the collaborative applications by Stephen Estock and Karen Hodge make this accessible and practical guide even more usable. I commend Heirs of the Covenant to every pastor, elder, and deacon, to every Sunday School teacher, women’s ministry coordinator, and Bible study leader, to every dad, mom, and accountability partner. Buy it. Read it. Use it. Pass it on.

– George Grant, Pastor Emeritus, Parish Presbyterian Church, Franklin, TN
