As we gathered with children’s ministry leaders from around the country at our annual Leadership Training Retreat this past April, one of the many topics which came up in conversation was the need for resources to help train our teachers in the local church.  At CDM we want to help you with that this year!

Plan to participate in the Children’s Ministry Grow Virtual Conference on August 19-20, 2022. You can gather a group of teachers and volunteers at your church to participate in a livestream and recorded weekend of training. You’ll want to gather your volunteers on those dates if possible for the full experience with chances for giveaways, but the recordings will be available to use through the fall into January 2023 for future use.

Our theme this year will be focused on Jesus, the Good Shepherd, and how understanding this characteristic of God helps us lead and teach the children in our churches well.

Grow Virtual will feature 3 plenary sessions and 10 workshops on various topics of children’s ministry. Topics include Scripture and catechism memory, making the most of your time in the nursery, teaching Jesus in all of the Bible, preparing an elementary lesson, and so much more!
